Happy New Year!   Scroll down to see the Journey Quilt.

As we kick off 2018, you may have a few rows left over waiting for just the right quilt setting.  It’s here and we call it the Journey Quilt.  It comes in three size variations too.  It’s a “look back” tribute to Row by Row On the Go! and features 2017 rows from shops all over the world. It’s an attractive layout with a traditional pieced structure to easily accommodate your rows. Vertical rows can be inserted sideways and still look nice.

Every day for the next 14 days, Jan. 1 through Jan. 14, around 7pm EST, we’ll post a new row on our Row by Row Studio Facebook page.  Check back here in the Studio to see the row added to our quilt.

If you want to make a quilt that looks like ours you can contact the shops directly. Some of the shops will still have row kits and patterns from 2017 available to purchase.  We’ll provide the shop’s contact info for each row. But we encourage you to use rows that you collected over the past years and make your own Journey Quilt.

The layout makes up in three different sizes each using a different number of completed 9-1/2″ x 36-1/2″ rows.  If your rows are not 9-1/2″ tall, just add slender strips of row background fabric to make them fit.  We included the free setting layout pattern for you.  Scroll down to find the .pdf link below.

Journey Quilt is presented by Row by Row Studio and the NEW 2018  Row by Row Junior, our exciting program for kids age 6-14.  Kids will travel along with an adult and collect free row patterns designed for them to make.  Ask your favorite local quilt shop to offer Row by Row Junior this summer.

Here’s our Journey Quilt.  Watch it fill up daily.  Scroll down to find the shop contact info to get the row patterns. Keep scrolling down for the pattern .pdf link.
