I was there 2 years ago and visited a great shop called THE SEWING SHED. It is in Castlemaine, Kerry. I did tell them about ROW by ROW. I tried to get hubby to travel with me two years ago but was not successful. Perhaps this year. Reply Row by Row Team on May 10, 2018 at 2:53 pm Hi Lynda: The new map is due to go live June 1st. There will also be downloadable lists of shops in Ontario that you can print. In the meantime, check out the Ontario/Quebec Facebook page. Wish I didn’t have to wait until June to see the rows! Reply Row by Row Team on May 10, 2018 at 2:50 pm Hi Denise: Totally understandable! The shops are working hard to get their rows and patterns ready. They are starting to show up on the area Facebook pages now. Have fun planning your trip and collecting your rows! Reply Row by Row Team on May 10, 2018 at 2:48 pm Hi Laura: The 2018 dates for Row by Row Experience are June 21 – September 4 to pick up patterns at no cost in the stores. You will be able to purchase patterns only in the stores September 5 – October 31. After October 31 – shops may sell patterns and kits in anyway they want. Have fun! Reply The Quilt Box on May 4, 2018 at 3:18 pm The Quilt Box in Kewanee, IL. is one of 8 Illinois quilt shops collaborating 8 blocks using the same base fabric, and each shop will also off a finishing kit. “Decades of Music” has covered from the 30’s to the 2000’ths genres of popular musicians. Looking forward to meeting and greeting all of the Row by Row shoppers. Have a great summer. Reply Joanne letnaunchyn on May 6, 2018 at 8:55 pm Are there any shops in Italy that are doing row by row? Reply Jeanne Gwin on May 8, 2018 at 4:08 pm For those of us who cannot travel, will these be available online? Reply Row by Row Team on May 10, 2018 at 2:42 pm Yes! Many shops offer the patterns beginning November 1st, either online or by mail order. Be sure to keep track of your favorites so you can contact the shops. Also – during the month of November, Row by Row offers RxR Showcase – a special section of the website dedicated to the shops who have patterns and kits for sale. Thanks for asking! Reply Cindy Strickenberger on May 17, 2018 at 3:54 pm I wish the shop locations were on the website now. We happen to be on a trip now and I’d like to hit some of them. I’m kind of bummed I can’t get any of the kits though or the patterns. May e i csn at least get the license plates and pins. Reply Connie Hull on May 17, 2018 at 8:47 pm Please show the designs for each quilt shop as it becomes available so we can at least start choosing and planning now. What is the hold up this year? I design my quilt and go to the quilt shops based on the designs I want. Reply Jeannette on June 20, 2018 at 3:10 pm Shops are actually still enrolling. They have until June 1 to submit a photo of their row for posting. Like most of us many wait until the last minute. Nothing is different this year from last as far as scheduling and posting is concerned. Reply Karen Lawson on May 18, 2018 at 8:10 pm I must be missing something and it’s probably right in front of me…When does the 2018 Row by Row start?? Reply Jeannette on June 20, 2018 at 3:08 pm Row by Row starts June 21. Free row pattern collection continues until Sep. 4. New for 2018, rowers can still collect rows after Sep. 4 but they are no longer free and still in-store only. New, also, rowers can buy kits after Sep. 4 but in-store only too. Row by Row ends Nov. 1. Reply Laura on May 19, 2018 at 2:45 pm I’m a 2 x winner!! Looking forward to this year. I adore music . Very nice topic indeed. The sounds of ,sewing machine’s whirling, instruments playing, music boxes….it’s endless. Reply Laurie on May 19, 2018 at 5:23 pm New web site not nearly as easy to navigate. Nothing is easier than “Start Here” Reply Chelle L Watkins on May 21, 2018 at 10:46 am Any shops near Tokyo? Reply Jeannette on June 20, 2018 at 3:05 pm Row by Row is in the US, Canada, and Europe for now. Who knows what the future may hold. Reply Janet DuLaney-Saunders on May 25, 2018 at 12:40 pm Can’t wait to start rowing Reply Janet LPL on May 28, 2018 at 10:20 am I don’t understand. Stores sell the pattern for one row? And it’s your choice which fabrics to use? Collect 8 and make a quilt? Reply Jeannette on June 20, 2018 at 3:03 pm Hello, Janet. You visit 8 different participating shops. Collect their free pattern. Buying their kits is optional but a huge convenience to you. Make a quilt using the 8 patterns using your fabric or kit fabrics. Complete it–finished, quilted, bound, and labelled. Bring it to a participating shop to win a prize of 25 fat quarters. If you include that shop’s row, you might get a bonus prize too. Deadline to do all this is October 31. Good Luck! Reply VERA L HUGEL on June 2, 2018 at 6:19 pm Hello Janet, fantastic site! Would it be possible to have the 2018 blocks on the website as well as Facebook, pleeeease? Some of us do not have Facebook for various legitimate reasons. ‘wishing you much deserved success. Reply Jearit Grennan on January 29, 2019 at 5:45 pm I agree plenty of us don’t do Facebook Reply Patricia on June 11, 2018 at 6:00 pm Is there a list that has pics of each row? And pics of the row by row junior? Reply Cathy Heinbaugh on June 13, 2018 at 1:17 pm I am enjoying the rows that have been displayed so far. However, do I understand correctly that the only way to see pictures of the rows is to go to the FB feed for each state and scroll through? Will the shops post other things to the same feeds? I’m seeing other misc posts and I’m afraid it is going to become cumbersome to scroll through. I really liked the old page format for each state so you could see small pictures of many rows in the same chart. Reply Jeannette on June 20, 2018 at 2:48 pm Stay tuned, Cathy. Picture and travel lists are on their way to be published soon. Reply Cathy Heinbaugh on June 23, 2018 at 11:11 am Thanks – the picture lists are up and I love it. It is such a convenient way to see rows and plan trips. Reply Roberta on June 13, 2018 at 3:54 pm Is there any Robin contest for this year? Reply Jeannette on June 20, 2018 at 2:07 pm Please contact the folks at zebrapatterns.com for Bobbin the Robin contests. Reply Bonnie Doyne on June 15, 2018 at 9:53 pm Is there a place where we can print a copy of the list of shops for each state showing their rows? Reply Sally on June 16, 2018 at 1:54 pm Is there a way to see the blocks without Face Book? We are traveling to MT, SD, ND and WY and I would like to easily see the blocks before I track down the shops. Thanks. Reply Jeannette on June 20, 2018 at 2:06 pm Downloadable row picture lists will be available soon. Reply Linda Koistinen on June 16, 2018 at 5:13 pm Hi! In the past, the travel list included pictures of each shop’s row as well as the name/address of the shop. Are these pictures going to be included this year? I know the pictures are on the facebook pages, but they are not in any particular order and it’s difficult to search by shop names. Reply Jeannette on June 20, 2018 at 2:05 pm Stay tuned. Reply Mary kay Anderson on June 17, 2018 at 12:00 pm I have joined each years row by row and always wish that it started earlier in June. The end of June is too late. Store owners say they don’t make this decision. Reply sarah on June 18, 2018 at 8:38 am My daughter, a very gifted musician, passed away on June 2. Also a quilter, she would have truly enjoyed this year’s theme. As you travel and stitch, please celebrate her life as fellow quilters!!!
