Last week my store manager Marcia, and I flew across the country from Syracuse, NY to Portland, Oregon to attend International Quilt Market. It’s a shopping spree for quilt shop owners! While there, I saw little bits of the Sew Musical theme throughout the show. (Be sure to scroll to the bottom to see all the great photos we took!)

Tammy, in the AccuQuilt booth, showed me the row idea they created with the new GO! Music Medley die. I know that many shop owners will be using these shapes in their rows. The die is brand new this week in quilt shops. Have fun adding notes to any areas of your quilts and Sew Musical projects.

Harry, in the Dill Buttons booth, showed me two fun examples of ways shops could use musical buttons as embellishments in their rows. These rows were created by pattern designer Susan Emory from Swirly Girls Designs.

Christina from Quilt Treasures in Idaho wasted no time converting her row into a windsock using the new pattern from Fat Quarter Gypsy!

Zebra Patterns’ booth became very busy when the show opened. Shop owners waited in line to order FabricPlates and CharmStamps in anticipation of summer travelers.

Deb from Quilter’s Corner Store in Oregon gave me a sneak peek of her very creative 2018 Sew Musical Row. Love it! The Beatles collectors will need this one

Even the notion vendors got into the fun! This quilt reminds me of the RxR Junior Guitar pattern. Kids are going to have fun with that row.

And finally… although it’s not “sew musical,” I couldn’t resist showing you a photo of the Voodoo donuts delivered to our hotel one morning. Breakfast of Champions!
