I remember being in Fairbanks about 35 years ago... there was a ceramic shop owned by a lady named Jeri in maybe an apartment building type place... Then in the bar of the building I met an older Lady who went by “Mother Peg”. Truly an Interesting stay in Alaska. ♥️

Love the Winter Filger Panel!

I was in Fairbanks last summer and this shop is definitely worth checking out!!

Darn wish I’d know. How far is it from the place cruise ships come in. I do plan to come again.

Alaska Row by Row Experience

Inquiring minds want to know...thanks for your ideas! For some shops coming up with a concept, designing, creating and making a pattern is very difficult, so we are asking you.....what types of rows and/or blocks would you like to see this year? What is the first thing you think of when you hear the phrase "taste the experience"??
Thanks for your input!

I love combinations of piecing and applique. Also very happy with the variety of block sizes. Play on words RECIPE (for fun, beauty, style, friendship, travel), SAMPLING (state themes, locations).

In Fairbanks, That Old Sew &Sew Quilt Shop and Northern Threads Inc. Both are wonderful shops & my favorites! Good luck!

I will be visiting Alaska in September and want to visit quilt shops in Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway while cruising and then Talkeetna and Fairbanks while on land tour. Can you please tell me names and addresses?
